Chinese Test Dates in 2027: HSK, YCT & BCT Complete Schedule
汉考国际 has published the 2027 calendar for the HSK (Levels 1–9), the HSK Speaking Test, YCT and BCT. Below is every test date with its paper and computer registration deadlines and result dates — the first full year of exams on the HSK 3.0 syllabus.

The advanced band is offered only twice a year and is computer-based (iBT) only. Registration closes two weeks before the test. See the HSK 7–9 requirements.

YCT — Chinese Proficiency Test (Youth)
For primary and secondary school students. The January and August sittings are paper-only and written-only; the speaking test is offered in May, October and November. Where written (W) and speaking (S) results come out on different days, both are shown.

When are the HSK exams in 2027?
HSK Levels 1–6 run on 9 January, 14 March, 10 April, 16 May, 26 June, 18 July, 21 August, 12 September, 16 October, 7 November and 11 December 2027. HSK Levels 7–9 run on 23 May and 20 November 2027.
When is the registration deadline for the first HSK of 2027?
For the 9 January 2027 sitting, paper-based registration closes on 13 December 2026 and computer-based registration closes on 30 December 2026.
Why is the paper-based deadline earlier than the computer-based one?
Paper-based registration closes about four weeks before the test, computer-based registration about ten days before. If you want the paper test, plan around the earlier date.
Can I take HSK 7–9 on paper?
No. In 2027, as in 2026, HSK 7–9 is offered only as a computer-based test, twice a year (23 May and 20 November).
When do I get my HSK results?
Computer-based results usually come out about two weeks after the test and paper-based results about a month after. Some dates are pushed back by Chinese public holidays; these are marked with an asterisk in the tables.
